Since its origins in 1990, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has raised over £60 million in total for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Just last year, 51,000 people signed up to coffee mornings across the UK, raising a staggering £10 million - and that number is expected to increase even further this year.
To celebrate The World's Biggest Coffee morning, The Dairy Tearoom will specially bake a range of delicious cupcakes, complete with green icing.
We will then donate the proceeds of the sale of these cakes, alongside any teas and coffees bought with them, to Macmillan Cancer Support.
If you are joining in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this year, and are hosting an event at work or at home, we would love to know what you have planned.
Using Macmillan's tweetmap facility, we found out that there are lots of exciting events happening in and around Aberdeenshire on Friday, including coffee mornings at Hoodles Playbarn and Coffee Shop and Meikle Wartle Village Hall.
Let us know what you are doing - and when Friday comes, we want to feast our eyes on what you and your friends have been baking.
Simply upload your Coffee Morning pictures to the Mitchells' Facebook page, or if you would prefer to upload your picture on Twitter, send the picture to @MitchellsDairy.
Make sure you include the hashtag #coffeemorning, and if you want your event to be featured on Macmillan's tweetmap, include the first part of your postcode eg #AB51.
If you can't join us in The Dairy Tearoom on Friday, we hope you’ll take the time to get together with friends, family and colleagues and raise lots of money for Macmillan.
After all, by making time for what really matters, you'll be helping to improve the lives of people living with cancer in the UK.
